Wooden church Galu

Wooden church in the village of Galu, commune Poiana Teiului, Neamt County was built in the early nineteenth century on the site of a much older ancient shrine of 1780, destroyed in unknown circumstances. Built on a knoll, the church burnes in 1812, to be raised again after several years of effort, this time near the bank of Bistrita, up to 1818. Wooden Synagogue “Baal Shem Tov” in Piatra Neamt

Nechit Monastery

In a natural setting of a special picturesque, on the Nechit creek valley is the monastery with the same name. Skiing track-ski slope on the hill Cozla in Piatra-Neamţ

The History Museum Piatra-Neamt – 80 years of activity

The History and Archaeology Museum from Piatra Neamt was founded in 1934 by Constantin Mătasa, receiving the title The Regional Museum of Archaeology. After 1960’s it was called The Archaeological Museum Piatra Neamt, from 1970’ s Piatra Neamt County Museum of History, and from 1978’s The Museum of History Piatra Neamt, and finally starting with 1991 it received the title that reflects the real specific of the museum: The History and Archaeology Museum from Piatra Neamt.
