Between August 4 and 9 2012 will take place the XV edition of the International Folklore Festival “Ceahlau”, organized by “Carmen Saeculare” Cultural and Art Center from Neamt County. There will be five beautiful evenings that will start at 19:00 every day. The shows will take place as follows: Piatra Neamt on August 4, Durau on August 5, Roman on August 6, Roznov on August 7. Between August 1 and 5 2012 will take place the third edition of the International Musical Contest “Liga Campionilor”. The event will take place at Tineretului Swimming Pool from Piatra Neamt under more stages. The purpose of this competition is to promote values and true musical voices.

Between July 21 and 22 2012 took placed in Piatra Neamt the VII edition of the Festival “Tare ca Piatra”, the only event of this kind dedicated to extreme sports from Moldavia region, Romania. This edition was organized by Ileana Foundation in partnership with the Sportive Association Shack, together with BURN and Radio Guerilla with the support of Piatra Neamt Town Hall.
At Tineretului Swimming Pool from Piatra Neamt and on Cozla Mountain took placed the competition of skateboard, streetball and downhill. The contest was full of adrenaline and surprises.

Neamt Monastery museum – The museum displays cult objects made out of precious metal, embroideries, fabrics, wood sculptures all made by the monks from the monastery or that were received as gifts over time from different rules.
