The Ethnography Museum from Borca commune was opened for public in March 2011 inside the “Mihail Sadoveanu” School. The people responsible for opening this museum are professors Daniel Calu, Dumitrina Iosub, Cristina Marcoci and Dumitru Balacianu that have managed to create a collection of objects that represent our traditions, our customs and the history of people living in these parts.

Between March 25 and May 31, 2011 at The History and Archeology Museum from Piatra Neamt you can visit the exhibition “Weapons through time”, that contains weapon replicas. This temporary exhibition contains more than 80 pieces of weapons and different objects that were used by soldier over time.

Izvorul Muntelui Chalet from the base of Ceahlau Mountain was built on the spot called “La Chilii” (Cellars) where in 1920 there were some cellars that belonged to monks. In that period of time Izvorul Muntelui Creek was difficult to access because of the big rocks and the thick forest.
