This year, Piatra Neamt City Days will be organized between June 24 and June 27. The official opening will take place Thursday June 24 at 14:00 at “Stefan cel Mare” Tower from “Piata Libertatii” Plaza and will consist in a show where young talents from Piatra Neamt will perform for everyone that will be present.

Secu Monastery was built in the beginning of the XVII century and represents an important religious center from Neamt County that hosts a valuable collection of religious objects such as: manuscripts, religious clothing, printings and so on.

Hiking route in Ceahlau: Izvorul Muntelui – Poiana Maicilor Plane – Dochia Chalet

This hiking route is one of the most used on the west side of Ceahlau Mountain. During winter, because of the high quantities of snow from Ocolasul Mic the route is not recommended. The time necessary to make this hiking route is between 4 and 6 hours (depending on how well trained the group is). The length of the route is about 9 km and the marking is a red line.

“Pestera Tunel” (The Tunnel Cave) from Cheile Sugaului – Munticelu Nature Reserve

“Pestera Tunel” (The Tunnel Cave) is located in Cheile Sugaului – Munticelu Nature Reserve and crosses the mighty ridge “Piatra Glodului” (The Mud Stone). Also called by locals “Pestera Sura Glodului” (The Mud Burn’s Cave) the cave it’s like a tunnel carved into the massive stone wall by nature. Huge boulders were dislocated by a natural cataclysm and shaped this impressive passing through the stone wall.
