To commemorate 175 years from the birth of king Carol I and 100 years from his death at the History and Archeology Museum from Piatra Neamt takes place between March 20 and May 21 2014 the temporary exhibition “King Carol I’s Romania”.
The event is organized by Neamt County Museum Complex in collaboration with the History Museum of Romania, Peles National Museum, the National Military Museum King Ferdinand I and Neamt County Service of National Archives. Pangarati Lake has become in the last years a magical place. Here, every day, hundreds of birds offer a true spectacle to locals and those that are passing by. Tens of people take a break on the shore of the lake to see the swans and the wild ducks that come to spend the winter here.

Neamt County participated between March 13 and 16 2014 at the spring edition of the Romanian Touristic Fair, that took place at Romexpo, Bucharest.
The stand of Neamt County was personalized with its main theme the agro tourism from Neamt region, presented under the title “Eternity was born in a village”. The theme was well presented through promotion materials that were given to visitors.
