Sunday, May 22 2011 starting with 10:00 o’clock will take place in Arinosu Forest from Ion Creanga commune the VI edition of the Folkloric Festival called “Pe sub creanga de arin” (translation: “Under the alder branch”).
Among the special guests of this festival we can list the Folkloric Band “Floricica de la munte” that is promoted by “Carmen Saeculare” Cultural and Art Center. Between May 17 and 22, 2011 in “Piata Roman Voda” Plaza from Roman will take place the second edition of Roman’s Days and the VII edition of the Local Artisans Fair.

The building of “St Joan the Baptizer” Church from Piatra Neamt started in 1866 when the priest Lazarescu wanted to build a new church in Maratei neighborhood. Many people made substantial donations and as a result the church was built of stone in a Byzantine style with an ossuary at the basement.
